Start with gun “unloaded” and holstered with your hands in the surrender position.
On the buzzer, draw and “load” the gun (magazine coming off your belt), engage the upper A zone with 2 shots.
This drill simulates a USPSA unloaded start stage, challenging your speed and efficiency with both drawing and loading the gun under pressure. Begin with your gun holstered and unloaded, hands in the surrender position. On the buzzer, quickly draw and "load" the gun by retrieving a magazine from your belt. Once the gun is loaded, engage the upper A-zone of the target with two accurate shots. The goal is to improve your ability to handle unloaded starts while maintaining accuracy and smooth mechanics during the load and fire sequence.
