The "Accelerator Drill" is an advanced shooting exercise that challenges your ability to engage targets at varying distances with speed and precision. In this drill, the shooter starts on the buzzer, drawing and engaging each of three targets with two rounds each. After a reload, the shooter then re-engages each target with two additional rounds. This drill tests and enhances multiple skills, including target transitions, speed, accuracy, and reload efficiency, making it an essential practice for serious USPSA competitors.
